Thousands of Hungarian users on LinkedIn wake up to find that their location has changed from Budapest, Hungary to Brisbane, Australia.
This was first noticed by a Balazs Paroczay, a Hungarian talent sourcing professional who, according to him reached out to LinkedIn help at the time but could not get a response.
As of the time of this article, 10 hours after the report, LinkedIn was yet to correct the glitch.

This goes on to illustrate that even very large tech organisations need to zoom in on how user data is handled.
